Tokyo Jogging
April 27, 2009I came across this site a few days back and had presented this to one of my clients. Digital media is all about innovation and trying to engage consumers in a very experential way and here is a classic example. “Tokyo Jogging“, a new mashup of Wii technology now allows folks like you and me to take a Jog around the streets of Tokyo!
This video explains how this works
This was created by Ryo Katsuma by using Google Street View. Users download the software from the site and connect their Wiimote to Google Map’s Street View and this guides people along the streets of Tokyo. Hopefully in a few years I hope to wake up every day (wherever I may be) and go for a Jog in Mapusa where i was born
